While I often say, “Saturday is my day to do nothing,” I love nothing more. But here it is only 1:00 p.m. & I’ve changed everything. Awake at 8, right when the laundry room re-opened, I finished 4 loads in an uninterrupted jiffy & rearranged my apartment in between. Tyler (my couch) & I couldn’t be happier with our new home & it seems the stars agree. Look what my dear friends at Daily OM sent the Piscesean Pixie today:
Our private spaces can serve as the sanctuaries that calm and reassure us if we take steps to clear them of life’s draining clutter. It is a simple truth that peaceful rooms tend to inspire peace within us, and we are better able to think in areas in which energy can flow freely. When our homes are not the refuges we wish them to be, we need only choose where we will establish a bastion of tranquility.
Lately, I’ve been too busy to put the proper attention into making my nest the best place for me to be. Not anymore. I think I’ll curl up now for an afternoon nap. & me thinks I’ll sleep more soundly for sure.
Here’s to home being where the heart flies freely for all & to delivery boys who bring a girl everything she could ever need. Well, maybe not everything…
