I’ve been shopping off and on for a cheap ticket back to Seattle but have had no luck of late. With Farecast warning “wait,” things were looking bad for my annual September excursion. I’d grown frustrated and pretty much dismissed the idea for good. I’d be missing two big birthdays and was adjusting to that reality.
As I meditated last night, I got a clear vision of my family that I so miss; I felt the sadness and released the tears. For the first time in forever, though, I also wanted to see Seattle’s face, to swim in her lakes and soak up her summer sun. Today as I ate lunch, the still, small voice inside said, “Look for a ticket now.” And there, on the very first try, was my bargain.
Thanks, Universe, for the reminder I so needed: when the time is right, go with the flow!
Start planning those parties, Melisa & Reilly Roo. I’m a’ comin’!
